7/52 (Project 365) | Beaumont Lifestyle Photographer
Another week! One of the most fun things for me during this documentary-style photography project of mine is being able to look back at earlier weeks and see the progress I’ve made. I can definitely see it, and I’ve mentioned it before, but I am only (currently) 50-something days in and I am already dreaming of the album I’ll put together at the end of the year. I cannot wait to see our year in print, and see the journey of my photography throughout the year.
Also, I’m throwing confetti around like crazy, because I can’t believe I’m 7 weeks in and going strong!
43: BUSTED. I made my husband a cake from scratch for his birthday. I made the frosting, went to grab the cakes and all the supplies I needed, and when I turned back around, this one had grabbed a spoon and was going to town on the frosting. SO BUSTED.
44: You’ve probably seen this one in the advertisements for my Heartifacts class, but I just love it. These are the little details I hope I’ll always remember. Those little dimples on his knuckles. LOVE.
45: I’ve been trying to do a better job of getting in the frame, thanks to the WiFi feature on my camera. This is probably the most accurate look at our life ever, ha!
46: Ezra in Hebrew means “Help”, and we had no idea when we named him that the kind of truth we were speaking over our baby. He is the most helpful kid alive. “Do you want to help?” are the magic words that derail any tantrum or fit or bad mood. I’m not 100% in love with this edit, but I just love his little tongue sticking out.
47: Tropical Storm Patricia. What a jerk. She turned the yard into a lake. She tried to kill our septic system (which sucks as much as it sounds like it does), she definitely killed our internet. All while Daddy was out of town. Our solution was lots of snuggles and Ninja Turtles on repeat. The 90’s version with Vanilla Ice, because I have the most awesome kid alive.
49: Ready, Aim, FIRE!

These are sessions that are very near and dear to my heart. Remember the importance of getting in the frame with your kids and being present, not only in their lives and the memories they carry with them, but also in their tangible heirlooms. I would love to be your personal family historian. Send me a message and let’s chat about doing a personalized documentary style session with your family!
