8/52 (Project 365) | Beaumont Lifestyle Photographer

50 days!  50 days!  I made it 50 days!

For the record, I have started SEVERAL 365 Projects over the past couple of years and I have never, ever made it past a couple of weeks.  Maybe it’s because this time I have embraced my true love of documentary style and lifestyle photography.  Coupled with my obsessive need to document every single moment of my little boy’s life, this feels way more natural and easy to me.  I talk about the album I’m going to make of these every week, but seriously.  I daydream about looking back at these images in twenty years and just crying lots and lots of happy tears.

50 (!!!) : Just to prove how far behind I am in blogging these and getting them out to the public, this was taken the week of Halloween. Who can resist trying on costumes when presented with the opportunity?

55: all the rain gave us problems with our septic system. Have you ever seen a boys eyes light up at the sight of heavy machinery? This was basically seconds before it was pitch black outside, but he was OBSESSED.

56: some days, you just have to eat your goldfish crackers with a spoon like cereal. With no pants on.
