the boutique experience
As a full service Southeast Texas Lifestyle photographer, I want to make the experience so much more for you than just
shooting your photos and handing you a disc! I am not only capturing your memories, but I am creating fun, original,
customized pieces of art for your home. I have searched extensively to find the highest quality and most unique products
available, but I also to strive a completely turn-key experience that leaves you feeling cared for and fulfilled from start to finish.
what is a session premiere?
The session premiere is the first time you get to experience your images, live and in person! Because of the differences from
screen to screen and the differences from printer to printer, I begin by offering printed proofs versus an online gallery so that
you can see right away how amazing your images look! Approximately two weeks after your session, we get together again to
go over your images. We start off by watching a slideshow of your gallery, and then we go through your physical matted proofs
one by one. Together, we use this opportunity to determine how you would like to display your favorites. I provide samples of
all of my products so that you can see and touch exactly what you’re getting right out of the gate. It completely takes the guesswork
and stress out of ordering! There is no minimum order requirement at your session premiere – you buy only what you love. It’s my
favorite part of the experience, because I love to see your first reaction to your portraits!
Sessions are offered within 50 miles of Beaumont, Tx – 77713. For locations of a greater
distance (up to 75 miles), a travel fee may be applied to your session fee. I am excited
and happy to shoot in the location of your choice, whether its a field, or abandoned warehouse,
or your favorite spot in town, or even the comfort of your own home. However, newborn sessions
will ALWAYS take place in the family’s home, where mama and baby are both most comfortable.
what to wear
This is a question I am frequently asked! “What do we wear?!” I love color! Layers add interest and texture,
although they are not always possible in our humid Southeast Texas climate. My advice is alwaysto find an
outfit for the hardest to dress first and then choose a few key colors that coordinate for everyone else’s outfits.
COORDINATE, not matchy matchy! Avoid busy patterns like plaid or gingham/check as they are not always
camera-friendly. Of course avoid logos or cartoon characters. Don’t shy away from fun, bright accessories!
Bring out the things that you might not wear everyday but that you think are fun and exciting and rock it! Feel
free to contact me to run ideas by me, or bring a change of clothes to your session and I can help you mix and match!
